MANIFESTO

When I wake up in the morning, my very first thought is -- journal, pen, go.

And after that it’s, where’s the coffee!

My heart glows when I see my daughter being herself with reckless abandon and my heart breaks when I see people dim their light just to fit in.

My clients are my obsession.  More than anything else, I care about helping them ignite and own their brilliance, so they see in themselves the amazingness that is so clear to me.

In my world… dancing and dark chocolate are absolute necessities.

Fresh flowers are always a fabulous idea.

Perfection is overrated and playing the comparison game is a definite joy killer.

Fantasizing about luxuriating in five-star hotels, eating exquisite meals, delighting in the gorgeousness of stylish surroundings while drinking champagne with my besties is totally reasonable.

Striving for creative flow is a must.

That look on my husband’s face makes my heart flutter.

Music is the answer to almost any question.

True freedom comes from sharing your unique mix of quirk & crazy. (Yes, I can channel Kate Spade, Johnny Cash, Jennifer Lawrence, Beyonce, Aaron Sorkin, Brene Brown and Miranda Lambert simultaneously!)

But at the end of the day, hearing I love you from my daughter is all that really matters.

When I die, I want to be remembered as a person who left it all on the table; who said YES when her muse said, let’s tango; who surrendered to the fierce beauty of life; who dared to share her creative soul with the world.

And who inspired others to do the same, because at the end of the day it’s why we are here.
